Once a headstone falls down it takes a large piece of equipment to place it back on their foundation. The church cannot afford to do it and many family members have either died or moved away. It is a shame to see this and it happens a lot in the old burial grounds. Some cemeteries have formed groups to preserve the grounds. Laurel Hill is one of them.
