A Little Bit of Heaven

Most mornings I wake up to beautiful sun rises that I can see from my bed. One of my favorite things to do is to sit in bed, drink my coffee, and watch a new day begin. Beginnings is such a powerful word and has its own meanings to different people. I am on a sabbatical this week, to rest, to think, to decide and despite what someone else may say, I know what is right for me. It is the destination that is the challenge. Writing is a creative outlet and I encourage everyone to do it because it brings awareness and peace. If you are lucky, it also brings direction.
