Walk Slowly and Carry a Big Stick

I have read with great interest all the articles about our possible involvement in another middle east conflict. What I think is really interesting is all the dramatic headlines and comments. I do not believe in commenting on news's articles, because I believe that the articles are embellished to catch our attention and the comments I read are down right stupid or ridiculous, though one or two may actually make sense because someone actually educated self on the main issue.

That was a mouthful!

Articles with headlines such as "children scream in the night" or "red lines drawn" are nothing more than propaganda. We all know what the word propaganda means? Right? Of course, women and children died and more are refugees. It is the nature of war. Will our involvement stop the chaos in the middle east? No! No! No Again! Have we learned NOTHING from history? We have no right to police the world. We have no right to spend money we do not have to force what we believe is right on another country. Where is the rest of the world? Why does the US believe they should always lead the policing of other nations? If I hear the president and/or secretary of state or any other politician state, "we must bomb to protect ourselves from this happening in other countries (chemical warfare)", I am seriously going to be the one screaming in the night. I have a few common sense ideas for the government of the old USA;

  • Protect our borders
  • Feed our hungry
  • Provide the unemployed or under-employed a decent job
  • Educate our children
  • Police our systems that are corrupt and failing
  • Protect our people
  • Protect our people
  • Protect our people
Before we clean someone else's side of the street, we need to clean our side first then clean out the closets, attics and basements!

Yes! We have a lot of cleaning to do of our own. We are not perfect. We are not great. We are faltering. Take a look around. We need to impeach Obama, then clean out the senate and congress. If we do not get our act straight, we will have a second Civil War right here. People are fed up. People are really fed up. I am fed up. We need to clean house from the top (president) all the way down to the local "walking the beat cop".

Our fore-fathers must be rolling around in their graves.

Bullshit

"Holder also said Snowden would not be tortured and would have all the protections of the U.S. civilian court if he were to come home from the Moscow airport where he has been hiding out.
The assurances were revealed in a letter dated July 23 and released on Friday, seeking to dispel claims about what would happen to Snowden if Russia handed him over to face charges of illegally disclosing government secrets about surveillance programs, Holder said."

Are you fucking kidding me? Has anyone experienced the justice system in this country? Define protection of the U.S. civilian court? Define Torture? I hope Russia does not have their heads in their asses like the U.S.

Snowden uncovered the illegal activities of this so called (cough!) protective civilian justice system and now the Higher Ups want him back and dead. Yes. Dead!

Do not believe them, Putin. I have witnessed first hand what those in power do with our constitution besides not follow it. They torture. They punish. They threaten the lives of jurors if the verdict does not come out to their liking. Guilty until proven innocent and while you are waiting to be proven innocent, you risk losing your job, home, children, life because those in power abuse their power and do not give a shit that it is a human being beneath their abuse. Oh and by the way, expect the real guilty party to run free.

Just asked Obama? He made a point of giving his very bias opinion on a recent verdict handed down by jurors who now fear for their very lives.

To bad there are not more citizens out there who have the balls to stand up for what is right.

Rommey

A fellow therapist looked at me in total disbelief when I told him, I will not vote for Obama, but for Rommey. The reaction I got and I quote, "But you are a therapist". I know what I am. I also know therapist = help = service unto others. However, I tell any patient I have that I will meet them 50%, but they had to meet me 50% of the way. I will not do all the work. I cannot change anyone. I am here to educate, provide tools and support. I will not enable. Is it not our profession to help people stand on their own two feet? Is it not our profession to guide not supply? I can't fix anyone, so if someone comes into treatment with the mind set that they need a certain diagnosis to receive SSI or SSDI, they chose the wrong therapist. I do not get involved with those services. If someone really has a serious problem, they should be under a doctor's care. I am of the mind set that if you hurt your back in construction, seek temporary assistance until you get back in school and learn a new trade. Even the deaf and blind are gainfully employed. I teach personal responsibility. It is up to each and everyone of else to take responsibility for our lives and our choices. I see too many people looking for a hand-out. I see too many people going on SSI or SSDI, working under the table and receiving food stamps. That is the reason our current system is bankrupt. It was put into place to help the truly needed, yet it has been abused for so long that it is easier to ask for a hand-out and never make a honest attempt at self improvement. I have always worked even when I raised three children. I never applied for unemployment. When I injuried my shoulder and could no longer work in the lab, I took out loans and went back to school in my late 40's, while interning and working fulltime. Many days, I felt like saying, "fuck this". I could have gotten a nice worker's comp payout. I did not. I went back to work. I could have applied for SSDI. I did not. I went back to work. I have paid taxes all my life. I pay into short and long term disability. I used the short term for the first time in my life for 5 weeks after I exhausted all my Paid Time Off.

I am a therapist. I am a really good therapist. I am also voting for Rommey.

Update
Thanks to all the readers. I hit an all time high of 45,251 hits today. The last highest date of hits this high was October 13th. Number # topic is still How Obama paid for Harvard?

Jobless Rate

Tell me, do you still think you are better off today, than four years ago. If you do, vote for Obama, but be careful because you may be one of these numbers in the next four years. The man had his chance. He blew it. Time for a change. Vote for Rommey!

CNBC's Rick Santelli runs down the latest numbers on unemployment, and discussing what it indicates about the economy and its impact on the markets, with CNBC's Steve Liesman, and Jim Iuorio, TJM Institutional Services.

The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits leapt to the highest level in four months in the latest week, erasing the large drop reported last week and then some.
The Labor Department reported Thursday that initial claims, a notoriously volatile data point that is subject to large swings due to technical factors, rose a seasonally-adjusted 46,000 to 388,000. The four-week moving average, which smooths out wrinkles in the data, rose 750 to 365,500. Both data points remain below 400,000, suggesting that the labor market is healing, although at a snail's pace.
"Improvement in the labor market will continue to be fitful and slow," said Joseph Trevisani, a market strategist at Worldwide Markets in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.
Last week, California reported a large drop in applications, pushing down the overall figure to the lowest since February 2008. This week, it reported a significant increase as it processed applications delayed from the previous week.
A department spokesman says the seasonally adjusted numbers "are being distorted ... by an issue of timing."
The government adjusts its readings for claims to take into account regular seasonal swings. Claims usually increase at the beginning of a quarter, but one state appears to be following a different pattern than normal in reporting its claims, which led to the wild fluctuations over the last couple of weeks, a department official said.

Canadian Press on Obama

By: Kenneth R. Timmerman WorthyNews.com 9-3-8 Canada Press
In a videotaped interview this year on New York’s all news cable channel NY1, a prominent African-American businessman and political figure made the curious disclosures about Obama.

Percy Sutton, the former borough president of Manhattan, off-handily revealed the unusual circumstances about his first encounter with the young Obama.

“I was introduced to (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him,” Sutton told NY1 city hall reporter Dominic Carter.
“The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.” Sutton, the founder of Inner City Broadcasting, said al-Mansour contacted him to ask a favor: Would Sutton write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard Law School? “He wrote to me about him,” Sutton recalled. “And his introduction was there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?” Sutton said he acted on his friend al-Mansour’s advice. “I wrote a letter of support of him to my friends at Harvard, saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly,”  Sutton told NY1. Sutton did not say why al-Mansour was helping Obama, how he discovered him, or from whom he was raising money on Obama’s behalf.

A Sutton aide told Newsmax that Sutton, 88, is ailing and is unlikely to do additional TV interviews in the near future. The aide could not provide additional comment for this story.
As it turned out, Obama did attend Harvard Law School after graduating from Columbia University in New York and doing a stint as a community organizer in Chicago. The New York Times described how transformative his Harvard experience became for the young Obama: “He arrived there as an unknown, Afro-wearing community organizer who had spent years searching for his identity; by the time he left, he had his first national news media exposure, a book contract and a shot of confidence from running the most powerful legal journal in the country.”

The details of Obama’s academic performance are well known: At Harvard, Obama rose to academic distinction becoming the editor of the Harvard Law Review and graduating magna cum laude.
Less known are the reasons al-Mansour, an activist African-American Muslim, would be a key backer for a young man from Hawaii seeking to attend the most Ivy of the Ivy League law schools.

Khalid al-Mansour a.k.a. Don Warden

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax from his home in San Antonio, Texas, al-Mansour said he would not comment specifically on the statement by Percy Sutton because he was afraid anything he said would get “distorted.” I was determined I was never going to be in that situation,” he said. “Bloggers are saying this is the new Rev. Wright — in drag! — and he is a nationalist, racist, and worse than Rev. Wright. So any statement that I made would only further this activity which is not in the interest of Barack.”
But in the lengthy interview, al-Mansour confirmed that he frequently spoke on university campuses, including Columbia, where Percy Sutton suggested he met Obama in the late 1980s, and confirmed his close relationship with Prince Alwaleed.
“I am not surprised to learn about this,” said Niger Innis, spokesman of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). “It is clear that Barack Obama’s ties to the left are familial, generational, and have lasted for several years.”

Although many Americans have never heard of Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour (his full name), he is well known within the black community as a lawyer, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an author, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel. Agraduate of Howard University with a law degree from the University of California, al-Mansour sits on numerous corporate boards, including the Saudi African Bank and Chicago-based LaGray Chemical Co. LaGray, which was formed to do business in Africa, counts former Nigerian President GeneralAbdusalam Abubakar on its advisory board. He also sits on the board of the non-profit African Leadership Academy, along with top McCain for President adviser Carly Fiorina, and organized a tribute to the President of Ghana at the Clinton White House in 1995, along with pop star Michael Jackson.
But his writings and books are packed with anti-American rhetoric reminiscent of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s disgraced former pastor.
In a 1995 book, “The Lost Books of Africa Rediscovered,” he alleged that the United States was plotting genocide against black Americans. he first “genocide against the black man began 300 years ago,” he told an audience in Harlem at a book-signing, while a second “genocide” was on the way “to remove 15 million Black people, considered disposable, of no relevance, value or benefit to the American society.”
In the 1960s, when he founded the African American Association in the San Francisco Bay area, he was known as Donald Warden.
According to the Social Activism Project at the University of California at Berkley, Warden, a.k.a.Khalid al-Mansour, was the mentor of Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his cohort, Bobby Seale. Newton later had a falling out with Warden, who was described in a 1994 book as “the most articulate spokesperson for black nationalism” at the time. The falling out wasn’t purely political, according to author Hugh Pearson.
“Sometimes Newton and the other members of (Warden’s) security detail got into fights with young whites who didn’t like what Warden had to say about whites. Rather than ‘throw down’ along with the security detail, Warden refused to fight,” Pearson wrote in “Shadow of the Panther: Huey Newton and the Price of Black Power in America.”

U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee of California entered an official statement of appreciation of Warden and his Black Panther colleagues in the African-American Association in the Congressional Record on April 23, 2007.

“Among the founding members (of the Association) were community leaders such as Khalid Al-Mansour (known then as Don Warden); future Judges Henry Ramsey and Thelton Henderson; future Congressman and Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums, and future Black Panthers Huey Newton and Bobby Seale,” the Democratic representative’s statement said. Al-Mansour’s more recent videotaped speeches focus on Muslim themes, and abound with anti-Semitic theories and anti-Israel vitriol.
“Today, the Palestinians are being brutalized like savages,” he told an audience in South Africa. “If you protest you will go to jail, and you may be killed. And they say they are the only democratic country in the Middle East. ... They are lying on God.”
He accused the Jews of “stealing the land the same way the Christians stole the land from the Indians in America.”

The Saudi Connection

But al-Mansour’s sponsorship of Obama as a prospective Harvard law student is important for another reason beyond his Islamic and anti-American rhetoric and early Black Panther ties.
At the time Percy Sutton, a former lawyer for Malcolm X and a former business partner of al-Mansour, says he was raising money for Obama’s graduate school education, al-Mansour was representing top members of the Saudi Royal family seeking to do business and exert influence in the United States.

In 1989, for example — just one year after Obama entered Harvard Law School — The Los Angeles Times revealed that al-Mansour had been advising Saudi billionaires Abdul Aziz and Khalid al-Ibrahimin their secret effort to acquire a major stake in prime oceanfront property in Marina del Rey, Calif., through “an elaborate network of corporate shells in California, the Caribbean and Europe.”
At the same time, he was also advising Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in his U.S. investments, and sits on the board of his premier investment vehicle, Kingdom Holdings.

Prince Alwaleed, 53, is the nephew if King Abdallah of Saudi Arabia. Forbes magazine ranked him this year as the 19th richest person on the planet, with a fortune in excess of $23 billion. He owns large chunks of Citigroup and News Corp., the holding company that controls Fox News.
He is best known in the United States for his offer to donate $10 million to help rebuild downtown Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks. But after the prince made a public comment suggesting that U.S.policies had contributed to causing the attacks, Mayor Rudy Giuliani handed back his check.
“I entirely reject that statement,” Giuliani said. “There is no moral equivalent for this (terrorist) act. There is no justification for it. The people who did it lost any right to ask for justification for it when they slaughtered 4,000 or 5,000 innocent people.” Since then, Prince Alwaleed’s Kingdom Foundation has given millions of dollars to Muslim charities in the United States, including several whose leaders have been indicted on terrorism-related charges in federal courts. He also has given tens of millions of dollars to Harvard and other major U.S. universities, to establish programs in Islamic studies. The casual statement by Percy Sutton to NY1 is the first time anyone has hinted at a relationship between Obama and the Saudi royal family.

Although al-Mansour glosses over his ties to the Saudi mega-billionaire in some of his public talks, he has represented the Saudi’s interests in the United States, in Britain, and in Africa for more than a quarter century, according to public records. He told Newsmax that he has personally introduced Prince Alwaleed to “51 of the 53 leaders of Africa,” traveling from country to country on the Saudi prince’s private jet. He knows virtually every black leader in America, from the business community, to community activists, to the worlds of politics and entertainment.

When Michael Jackson was on the ropes in the mid-1990s following a series of lawsuits by the parents of children accusing him of sexual abuse, al-Mansour introduced him to Prince Alwaleed, whose Kingdom Entertainment signed a joint venture with Jackson in 1996. “Jackson and Alwaleed became pals in 1994, when a mutual friend from Alwaleed’s college days in California arranged a lunch meeting aboard the prince’s yacht in Cannes,” Time magazine reported about the new partnership in 1997.

The mutual friend was al-Mansour.

“As a black American, I am exceedingly proud at the American people’s response to Barack Obama’scandidacy,” said CORE’s Niger Innis. “But to deny that he has long-standing ties to left-wing elements in our polity is to deny reality. If you want to be president of the United States, it is not racism if you ask these kind of questions, and he has to come up with an answer, hopefully the truth.”
Sutton gives no clues as to why al-Mansour would be raising money to help Obama go to law school.
Obama has said during his campaign that he paid his way through Harvard with student loans.
For Jesse Lee Peterson, founder of the Los Angeles-based Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND), these latest revelations about Obama’s ties to Saudi financiers were an important wake-up call. “To me, this opened up more questions about Barack Obama and his relationship to the Muslim world,” Peterson told Newsmax.

“A lot of people are caught up with the emotional aspect of Barack Obama, the movie star aspect, the false promises that he’s going to take care of everyone and their Mama.” But when the full story of Obama’s ties to radical preachers such as Wright and to black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan comes out, Peterson believes that Obama’s star power will fade. “I think there’s more to this story and to Barack Obama than we realize,” Peterson said. “As all the truth comes out before the election, I don’t think he has a chance. I can’t see American’s taking that kind of risk.”
The Obama campaign did not respond to requests for comment.

Who Paid For Obama's Harvard Law Education?

There are many questions which remain unanswered about the mysterious Barack Obama.  When you start digging into Obama's background, you turn up more questions than answers.

Obama's father was a Kenyan citizen and his mother was American. His name as a young child was changed to Barry Soetoro when his mother married Indonesian citizen Lolo Soetoro and moved to Jakarta. Indonesian school records state that Obama was an Indonesian citizen and not an American citizen and that his religion was Islam and not Christian, protestations by Obama to the contrary notwithstanding. When or how Obama acquired U.S. citizenship or changed his name back to Barack Hussein Obama is unclear. A birth certificate produced by the Obama campaign.

We know from his autobiography that he had Muslim roommates in college of foreign nationality. Now it turns out that an influential, radical black Muslim with close ties to the Saudi royal family and an outspoken opponent of Israel helped finance Obama's law school education. Obama's benefactor at the young age of 25 is Dr. Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour a/k/a Donald Warden. Here are some facts you should know about al-Mansour according to a Newmax investigative report:

  • "He is well known within the black community as a lawyer, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an author, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel."
  • In a 1995 book, “The Lost Books of Africa Rediscovered,” he alleged that the United States was plotting genocide against black Americans.
  • He was the mentor of Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his cohort, Bobby Seale.
  • Al-Mansour’s more recent videotaped speeches focus on Muslim themes, and abound with anti-Semitic theories and anti-Israel vitriol.
  • At the same time he was raising money for Obama's education he was representing top members of the Saudi Royal family seeking to do business and exert influence in the United States.
  • He advises Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in his U.S. investments. Prince Talal is most famous for offering $10 million to the City of New York following 9/11, a contribution turned down by Mayor Rudy Giuliani because the Prince said American policies were to blame for the terrorist attacks. Prince Alwaleed has made tens of millions in contributions to Muslim-American charities, some of whose leaders have been charged by our government with terrorism-related ties. Prince Alwaleed also donates millions to Harvard for Islamic studies.

Newmax sought a response from the Obama campaign about the financial assistance Obama received from al-Mansour, but the campaign refused to respond. This disclosure came in a very unlikely fashion. Percy Sutton, a prominent African-American businessman, was being interviewed when he described how he first came to know Obama. He told me about Obama.” "Sutton, the founder of Inner City Broadcasting, said al-Mansour contacted him to ask a favor: Would Sutton write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard Law School?"

This revelation about Obama's past received no attention from the news media. Why? Obama critic Andy Martin thinks the revelation is a big one. "This latest disclosure may be the 'smoking gun' that discredits Obama and destroys his candidacy." "And I think I know where it came from. I honestly do not see Obama surviving financial links to a close adviser of a member of the Saudi Arabia monarchy, not when Saudis were the instigators of 9/11." "Even a slight link to Saudi money would disqualify anyone from the presidency in the mind of almost every American." I agree with Martin that it is a big revelation. But this American news media has already decided Obama is The One. I have little confidence this will make its way into any mainstream media reports.

According to financial records, Obama was worth about one million prior to becoming president. He is now worth 11.8 million. Research indicates that Obama's education that began in private schools to Columbia University then Harvard were all funded by Scholarship. Research also implies, these scholarships came from an Islamic group associated with the Prince in Saudi Arabia.

My question is this, "Why does the American public not know these facts? Anyone can research them on many different levels". I found my information on sites, books, ect. Enemy within? Who is behind this president? Who really placed him there? This is no joke. Do the research folks. If you dig deep enough, you will discover that his education was paid for by others.
