We went exploring through different counties today. We explored St. George's Island.
Next we visited Piney Point Lighthouse.
Then we went over to Point Lookout Light in the town of Scotland, St. Mary's County. This lighthouse marks the entrance to the Potomac River. At the southern most tip of the western shore is the Chesapeake Bay.
Bill climbing down the ladder from the lighthouse. It was 120 degrees at the top.
Those who showed us the lighthouse told us there were ghosts that walked the halls because the building became a part of a confederate hospital and prison.
We headed back to the resort and enjoyed the surroundings. The remaining of the day was spent relaxing, thinking, some crying.
Mango Breeze. Blueberry Crush was much better.
