Massachusetts Vacation Day Two

November 25, 2016 (Our 10th Anniversary)

We started the day touring the area around Hull and took in some beautiful sights.

Next stop was Fenway Park.

Across the street from Fenway Park was the House of Blues.

Next we drove out to Brookline to visit the birthplace of John F Kennedy.  The house on Beale Street saw the birth of the first four Kennedy children; Joseph, John, Rosemary and Kathleen.

Because Joe and Rose Kennedy's family was expanding they needed a larger home so they moved to Abbottsford Rd two blocks away.

Joe and Rose Kennedy are interred in Holyhood Cemetery and despite the rain we took a drive through the cemetery to their grave site.

In addition to Joe and Rose Kennedy, their daughter Rosemary is also interred here along with two of Robert and Ethel Kennedy's children, and two of Edward and Joan Kennedy's children.

After Holyhood Cemetery we visited Harvard University.

Granary Burying Ground where Paul Revere, Thomas Paine, John Hancock and Benjamin Franklin's parents are interred. In addition, the victims of the Boston Massacre are interred here as well.
